This is a government arm that has the information on the latest available grants, who will qualify and how to qualify for the said grant. There is no general formula in obtaining a grant as they would have different requirements to obtain them. The grants are listed on the website of CFDA and copies of the grants are also found in public libraries.

Government Grant Scams
Every now and then, you will receive spam informing you that you may be eligible for a government grant. Of course, you already know they are scams but there are those that are unfortunately, drawn to that scam and end up losing a good amount of money. Some of them will only ask a small amount and this will be considered as a screening fee to know if you can qualify for a grant. As already indicated, a government grant can't just be given out to random people. Those who wish to qualify for a grant have to present papers and even spend a considerable amount of money. Your name and other personal information alone will never get you qualified.
